PADI Rescue Diver

The course will teach you how to respond, anticipate and manage emergencies at the surface and underwater. You will learn how to assist other divers and take care of yourself in various rescue scenarios. You will be able to use an emergency oxygen kit, fix equipment issues, navigate underwater search, help other divers above and below the surface and handle medical emergencies providing first aid and CPR.

PADI rescue Diver certification is also the last level to complete in preparation for the Pro Divemaster program or to become Master Scuba Diver

Prerequisites
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification (or equivalent)
PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) or qualifying CPR and First aid training within past 24 months
Min. age 12 years
Last dive within past 6 months or you can make refresher session before starting the course
Good physical health

About course

  • PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course and training (if no EFR or qualifying CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months)

  • Self study e-learning prior to training (or arrival)

  • Course duration two to three days (plus eLearing)

  • Confined water training and two open ocean dives guided by instructor
